There are few things more powerful than the gift of music, especially when it creates moments of calming comfort.

Today, our Memory Care residents at Knollwood Retirement Community enjoyed a special performance by handpan musician Ken Bornert. The gentle, melodic tones of the handpan filled the room with a peaceful atmosphere, inviting residents to relax, reflect, and simply enjoy the moment.

Music has a unique way of reaching the heart, and for many living with memory loss, it can spark emotions, reduce stress, and create meaningful experiences. It was wonderful to see our residents smiling, listening, and enjoying Ken’s beautiful performance together.
