Knollwood Residents and Staff Unite for National Go Red Day

Today at Knollwood Retirement Community, we proudly came together in support of National Go Red Day.

Residents and staff began the morning with gentle movement during our Morning Stretch, followed by a healthy, heart-smart meal. The day ended on a joyful note as Tommy Tunes filled the room with music, dancing, laughter, and smiling faces. It was a wonderful reminder that movement, connection, and joy all play an important role in heart health.

Knollwood Residents and Staff Unite for National Go Red Day This day also carries special meaning as we paused to remember our dear friend of Knollwood, Dr. Joyce Miller, MD. She bravely faced her heart-health journey and passed away following a recent transplant. She was a gifted physician and a quiet, caring presence. She will always be remembered.

We honor Dr. Miller by continuing the fight for heart health, caring for one another, and living each day with purpose, gratitude, and heart.

Thank you to all of our residents and staff who wore red and participated in today’s drawing. Your support for heart health truly means so much. ❤️
