Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate all the women for having the never-ending title of Mom.
One of the most popular gifts to celebrate is a beautiful bouquet of flowers, whether they are store-bought or homegrown. In preparation for Mother’s Day, our wonderful Nurse Jae and her sister came in the evening the Wednesday before Mother’s Day with supplies to create flower bouquets. One of the best things about having residents from all different walks of life is seeing all the varying styles of creativity. Residents were given all the same supplies to create their own bouquets, yet everyone looked different from one another. This is the first time we have done an activity such as this, and it has quickly become apparent that this will become part of a yearly tradition for Mother’s Day.
To all the hard-working women out there with the title of Mom, you are truly appreciated by everyone.
Here are some of the photos from that amazing evening!
