At Knollwood, great meals have a way of bringing people together, and today was no exception!
As a special practice run for Father’s Day, Ms. Ollie, one of our talented cooks, prepared barbecue pork steaks for our residents. The delicious meal was met with enthusiastic reviews and plenty of happy smiles around the dining room.
One resident in particular, known for occasionally sharing his honest opinions about the menu, gave the meal a thumbs-up while enjoying every bite. It was a moment that brought a few laughs and proved just how much everyone enjoyed Ms. Ollie’s latest creation!
The tender pork steaks, coated in rich barbecue sauce and served alongside classic sides, were a wonderful preview of what residents can look forward to on Father’s Day. If today’s response was any indication, the celebration is already shaping up to be a delicious success.
While Ms. Ollie deserves special recognition for today’s successful trial run, one thing is certain: no matter who is behind the grill on Father’s Day, whether it’s Mr. Eldridge, Mr. Donnie, Ms. Ollie, or any member of our culinary team, our residents are in for a treat. The Knollwood culinary staff consistently goes above and beyond to create meals that are both delicious and memorable.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team of cooks. Their creativity, hard work, and commitment to our residents help make every meal something special. From everyday favorites to holiday celebrations, they take great pride in serving food that brings comfort, joy, and a sense of community to our dining room.
Thank you, Ms. Ollie, for another outstanding meal, and thank you to our entire culinary team for all you do. We can’t wait to celebrate Father’s Day together!
