A Garden Full of Life
This year, our vibrant outdoor space is home to more than just beautiful blooms. Residents are planting spinach, collard greens, tomatoes, and a variety of fragrant herbs alongside colorful flower beds. These additions bring both beauty and utility, turning the garden into a place of pride and purpose.
You’ll find raised beds carefully arranged by our dedicated activity assistant, giving everyone easy access to gardening—whether they want to dig in deeply or simply enjoy the view. These beds make it easy for residents of all mobility levels to be part of the fun.

Our residents take joy in every step—from turning soil to spotting the first sprout. Some even have personal planters filled with their favorite flowers or vegetables, giving them a special piece of the garden to call their own.

One of the best parts of our garden’s location is that it’s right outside the dining room door. Our Dietary Manager and Chef, Angela, is already dreaming up recipes that will feature homegrown ingredients straight from our garden. Imagine freshly picked tomatoes added to a hearty pasta dish, or bright green herbs flavoring a warm soup—grown with love and served with care.
A Blooming Community
Whether it’s the dirt under their fingernails, the sight of a new blossom, or the promise of a tomato ripening on the vine, our garden gives residents a chance to reconnect—with nature, with each other, and with themselves. It’s a place of peace, productivity, and plenty of laughter.
