Welcome Club gives every new resident a warm welcome home
Moving into a new community is an exciting new chapter, but it can also come with a lot of unknowns. At Knollwood Retirement Community, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to make that transition easier, more personal, and more welcoming.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new Welcome Club, a resident-led initiative created to ensure every new neighbor feels at home from the very beginning.
This exciting new program reflects what Knollwood has always believed: the strongest communities are built on kindness, friendship, and people who genuinely care about one another.
A Personal Welcome from New Friends
Our Welcome Club is made up of resident volunteers who are paired with each new resident as they join the Knollwood family.
These friendly ambassadors help show new neighbors around the community, answer questions, introduce them to fellow residents, and help them become comfortable in their new home.
Having someone there to offer a smile, share a conversation, or simply say, “Come sit with us,” can make all the difference.
Baking a Warm Welcome
As part of the Welcome Club’s kickoff, residents and team members gathered in the kitchen to bake homemade cookies and prepare thoughtful Welcome Home gifts for our newest neighbors.
Working side by side, everyone enjoyed measuring ingredients, decorating gift boxes, packaging fresh treats, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
The cookies may have been delicious, but the friendships being built were even sweeter.

A New Monthly Tradition Begins
The Welcome Club is just getting started.
Beginning this month, the club will host a monthly Welcome Home Party to celebrate every resident who has recently moved into the community.
These gatherings will provide another opportunity for neighbors to connect, make new friends, and become part of the Knollwood family in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
