National Assisted Living Week has given us plenty of reasons to celebrate at Knollwood Retirement Community, and Tie-Dye Day may have been one of our most colorful activities yet!
We had a fantastic turnout as residents came together to create their own tie-dye designs, enjoy time with friends, and have a little fun trying something different.
The smiles throughout the day said plenty, but a couple of comments from our residents captured the afternoon perfectly: “I feel like a kid again!”
And another resident couldn’t wait to share the experience with family, saying, “I can’t wait to tell my grandkids what I did today!”

At Knollwood, activities are about much more than filling the calendar. They give residents opportunities to try new things, express themselves, spend time with friends, laugh together, and create new memories.
